I can't help with the Windows- and compiler-specific problems,
but if you really want to start hacking lynx, you should
start with the latest available code. That is currently
lynx2.8.3dev.3, get the .zip from <http://sol.slcc.edu/lynx/current/>
or one of the mirrors listed there. That way we can be sure we are
talking about exactly the same code.

I've never used this compiler, but obviously something is wron in line 191
of the file C:\BC45\INCLUDE\winnt.h. So I would start with looking what
is there.
