First off, the addition of #undef h_errno just before extern int h_errno
in the HTTCP.c module fixed the compile and link problem under AIX.
Thanks.
I also see what is going on with what I described as a "lock up" condition
when trying select the "Advertisement" URL at the Salt Lake Tribune
(http://www.sltrib.com). What is happening is that version 2-8-2rel.1 is
asking a question but, because the URL is long, the Y/N portion of the
question doesn't appear. Instead, all one sees at the bottom of the screen
is:
Accept invalid cookie path=/ad_cookies as a prefix of
scripts/accipiter/adcl
and that's it. So, from my initial perspective, Lynx did, indeed, appear
to "lock up" as "z" didn't recover and I had no clue that the only
appropriate response was either a "Y" or a "N". Today, I just "guessed"
that there was a question there and, sure enough, I was right. Of course
Lynx version 2-8-1pre.11 defaults to the "N" response so it wasn't an
issue with it.
So my thought on the matter would be to have the left/right arrow keys
allow one to scroll back and forth so that the entire message could be
seen, no matter how long it is.
OK, I think that takes care of things. Again, thanks for your quick
response and your fine work.
