A number of free software programs exist for the dual tasks of creating
filesystem images in the appropriate formats; and writing them to CD
media. For instance, look for `mkisofs` and `cdrecord`.

I imagine there are tens of thousands of topics that various subsets of
the people on this list would be interested in -- in some *other* venue.
*This* list is about Lynx and its ongoing development. The people on
the list are here for that purpose alone. Any off-topic subject will be
of interest to some people, but not others, and thus degrades the
overall utility of the list. I could start talking about my experiences
planting apple trees last weekend; I'm sure there are a number of people
who would be fascinated. But this is the wrong place.

Questions like this are easily answered with a few seconds' use of a web
search engine -- several of which can be found on the main Lynx help
page.
