well - I've run into this with X applications, and foud that the -H option
did not buy me anything. In that case, the only alternative was to use
gcc. (The HPUX box that I was using last year has been down due to a hardware
problem, but someone seems to have repaired that - however I'm working against
a deadline at work and won't have time to try to fix this myself - assuming
that hardware stays working).
