The appropriate list for this question is address@hidden

We will need more information to help. What version of lynx is this,
and running on what platform? Which mail program is specified in
lynx.cfg (SYSTEM_MAIL)? How are you entering the name? Lynx can be
configured to allow you to specify the FROM: line (NO_ANONYMOUS_EMAIL
in userdefs.h). Otherwise it may come from system settings. Where do
you see it truncated? Is this in the headers in received mail or do
you just see it in copies that you get?

Lynx version can be obtained by running "lynx -version". Platform can be
obtained at times by running "uname -a". You will have to look at the
lynx.cfg file on your ISP for the SYSTEM_MAIL information.
