Apologies for the problems.  The machine lynx.browser.org was on
underwent a hardware upgrade that unfortunately introduced more problems
than it solved.  Things look stable now, however, so hopefully there
will be no more problems.

In view of the unexpectedly long nature of this outage, and the effect
on lynx users, I'm actively looking for people to mirror lynx.browser.org
to try and avoid this problem being as extensive in future.
