lynx-dev lynx 2.8.2dev19 core dump using the 'form edit text entry field' option
Mon, 29 Mar 1999 13:41:47 -0500 (EST)
Platform SPARC Solaris 2.6, Sun compiler, ncurses, lynx 2.8.2dev19 .
I was filling out a form at http://www.scriptics.com/support/bugForm.html
(well, it's actually deeper into the system - that's the 'entry point'.
I used the new lynx keyboard option to
throw me into my own editor when filling in a text entry field.
I read in a large file into the text field. I exited. I completed
the form. I pressed submit. After a bit, the server came back with
a 'thank you for your submission' page as always. I have since
even received my copy of the submission in email as I always do when
submitting a form at this site.
I then did a Q. I got:
A Fatal error has occurred in Lynx Ver. 2.8.2dev.19
Please notify your system administrator to confirm a bug, and
if confirmed, to notify the lynx-dev list. Bug reports should
have concise descriptions of the command and/or URL which causes
the problem, the operating system name with version number, the
TCPIP implementation, and any other relevant information.
Do NOT mail the core file if one was generated.
