Ok, stupid question on my part -- do you mean development version as in
code only on *your computer*?  I get that impression from the "I haven't gotten
there"..  I am not the one who compiles lynx here.  Heck, I should spend
a few hours trying to get it to build sometime so I know I can always have 
an up to date version...  I copied the source directory from the guy 
who did compile it to my own directory, but it's running into an error:
