lynx-dev Current rendering state info

Since there are quite a few toggling commands that can affect the rendering
of documents, I sometimes can't recall just how I'm viewing things, if I've
been playing-around with the rendering.

It would really be nice if the current settings could be reflected in the
statusline (as single character "flags"), and/or perhaps more descriptively
in the "=" info page,

Also, having a command that would reset all the toggles to their startup
values would be convenient, at times.

Has anyone considered doing anything like this? Or am I perhaps overlooking
some obscure place where the current state *is* shown?

I guess I'm mostly talking about:

^V SWITCH_DTD switch between two ways of parsing HTML
" SOFT_DQUOTES toggle valid vs. soft double-quote parsing
' HISTORICAL toggle historical vs. valid/minimal comment parsing
* IMAGE_TOGGLE toggle handling of all images as links
@ RAW_TOGGLE toggle raw 8-bit translations or CJK mode ON or OFF
[ INLINE_TOGGLE toggle pseudo-ALTs for inlines with no ALT string
\ SOURCE toggle source/presentation for current document
` MINIMAL toggle minimal vs. valid comment parsing

On a somewhat different topic, having a runtime toggle to set/clear the
ACCEPT_ALL_COOKIES state would be useful, I think. Perhaps while others
are sorting-out the exact functionality of A_A_C, such a toggle could be
added ...?

Comments?
