Re: why not just use expect

Because trying to drive a curses oriented program like lynx from straight
expect would probably be a tougher job than putting in hooks into lynx
to do such a thing.

If it gets done, I certainly hope it would be done so that one configures in
the behavior.  I am sure others have no need for it, just as I have no
need for all the multi-lingual support that is currently increasing lynx's
size...
