i had no problem using the latest 2-8-1,
which you can get from www.slcc.edu/lynx/release/ .
there is a malformed comment on line 2 of Jim's CoCo Page,
which may be tripping up an earlier version of Lynx;
otherwise, try juggling the various parsing options.
