I created mime_types. with the above contents.
I created mailcap. containing:
application/start-tar; dir
I placed in lynx.cfg:
PERSONAL_EXTENSION_MAP:mime_types.
PERSONAL_MAILCAP:mailcap.
I presumed that the two files referenced above would be located in
the same directory as the lynx.exe and lynx.cfg files. This does
not appear to change the behaviour.
