what additional info does the date provide?

I mean, I understand how netscape uses it's dates - it uses it to do time
stamped modification checking.  But what use will lynx's date play?  Just
an indication of when you added the link?

I guess that, for me, I can't see how that would be at all interesting to
me.  But perhaps for someone else it would.
