lynx-dev reverse/underline of links

I am working on installing lynx onto HP-UX10.2, and I cannot get the links
to appear underlined, and only the active link shown in reverse so that I
can tell where I am on the screen.  I tried to add "--enable-undrlines" to
the ./configure but that produced no noticable results.  I have also tried
to add #define UNDERLINE_LINKS in the LYCurses.h file and searched for
other possibilities to no avail.

Can someone tell me where exactly I should be making changes so I can
recognize the active line?  Thanks.
