Just a question for curiosity's sake: Why did you download lynx in the
first place?  "Ordinary Internet surfers" usually would stick with a GUI
browser.. if you wanted faster browser, why don't you try Opera?  That is
less "nerdy" and has a much smaller footprint than the Big Two.  It
probably even has a "self-installer."
