Perhaps - but what is this supposed to _mean_?  Before doing this, one
should turn off Java, Javascript, and images, then run Netscape and lynx
size by side and see how 'compatible' they are.  If a site generates
'netscape' pages will lynx be able to use them?  If so, then perhaps
that is the route to go.  However, if they do not do most formatting and
behavior the same then it might not do any good.  However, if they are,
then perhaps talking the situation over with Netscape (in their mode
now of making browser code available for 'free') would lead to a permanent
change, eliminating the need for a changable user agent string altogether.
