Lynx is supported by an international co-operative of volunteers
& since we have just been releasing a new version 2-8
no-one had the time to reply to this;
also it may need a specialist on Mac Lynx.

i can't answer your question myself,
but resizing the screen was discussed on lynx-dev in 1997:
look in the Archive at  www.flora.org/lynx-dev/ ,
which is searchable via  www.crl.com/~subir/lynx/search-archives.html ;
ask again here when you have tried the Archive.
