Again you say "replace". Not replace, but generate the correct code from the
beginning! And not only for E0, but for all Cyrillic letters and other
characters such as pseudographics that the standard ROM BIOS cannot generate.
This is important not only to prevent the E0 problem once and forever, but also
for another reason. Rigorously speaking, apps are required to accept only those
codes that are present in the defining spec for INT 16, that is, _IBM PC
Technical Reference_. 16-bit codes with a Cyrillic code in AL and a scan code
in AH are not there, so apps doesn't have to accept them. The only way to enter
Cyrillic characters without a russifier is to enter Alt+number. This method
sets AH to 00, and therefore this is what a russifier must generate.
