Well I was able to access the page in question using the following
agent string:
        Mozilla/3.0 (X11; U; compatible_l.y.n.x.2.7.1f_8/7/97) ...
-- this time no "bad browser" page.

However, I then tried another site and got a page saying
I needed a more recent version of my browser.
So I changed the agent string to say Mozilla/5.0 ...
However it still gives me the "old browser" page.

What is the latest version of Netscape anyway?
