LYNX-DEV DIRED menu how is it invoked ?? Appearence seems to be dead

        I just finally got thru all of the compiling hoops and such.  For
some strange reason the logic in the help menu or the option is just shot.

        I've compiled Lynx 2.7, I think I'm running it on the system, how
do I check for sure to verify the older 2.4.3 version isn't online still ?
I've removed the lynx 2.4.3, but have no luck with the lynx 2.7 and the dired
options, I've included them in the compilation of the program, they weren't
altered from the Makefile script, so it should be there right ?
