Yes; upgrade to a more recent version of lynx, which figures out not
to use the mailcap entry for text/html. Any version released after
1996-07-25 has this fix, from what I can tell, but you should upgrade to
2.7.1 if at all possible; it has other fixes and improvements as well.
text/html;lynx -force_html %s
might work OK with 2.5; I'm not sure.
