to all you guys/gals at the University of Liverpool (UK):
your version of Lynx (2-5) every so often sends the above message
to the lynx-dev mailing list.  you probably don't know it's happening.

lynx-dev is a busy list for all those interesting in promoting & developing
the Lynx browser.  list members try to give useful answers to queries,
however elementary, tho' a lot of it is quite hi-powered programming.

your version of Lynx (2-5) is out-of-date: you should ask your sysadmin
to upgrade to the latest version 2-7-1: goto  lynx.browser.org  for details.
if you have ordinary access to Unix/VMS/Win32, you can compile
your own version in your own directory.

by all means send real human-originated problems to lynx-dev,
but have a look to see how not to keep sending automated messages.
