        That seems too confusing; miss the link you're trying to click
on and the screen will scroll.  How about an alternative proposal:
click on the top line of the screen to scroll up, and click in the
status area (which is one line in Advanced mode, and 3 lines in Novice
mode) to scroll downwards.
