Henry, 

In general, yet, you could run an X Windows server and then use Xterm and
other X based stuff. In your case, I would guess it is unlikely, however,
due to the memory and OS limitations. I have a 486 here than I use an X
server on, (486-33 actually) and it is tolerable, but it does have 20 Meg
of Ram and runs either NT 4.0 or W95. You can look for PC X servers and 
see if one will run in your environment, but don't get your hopes up too
much.

Oh, I should also mention that your connection's bandwidth becomes MUCH more
of an issue running X software over it!
