LYNX-DEV term size

I compiled lynx with slang on HP-UX 9.05.  It doesn't recognize that
the xterm size is 80x40, and sets it to 24 lines.  When it exits, the
size remains set at 24 lines.  (Note, I'm not re-sizing the xterm, it
is 80x40 before, during, and after lynx is run).

When it is compiled with curses, it gets the xterm size right.

Have I configured something wrong in the Makefile?
