Not really.  The University of Kansas wants its computer back.
Committing to maintaining a web server on that node for the
archives means that they are not free to do what they want with
the computer.

Kansas has contributed a great deal to Lynx over the years.  We
need to get on the stick and let them retire with thanks from
this particular job.
