I can tell you why I personally prefer Slang to ncurses - Slang better
reacts on a window/Screen (Linux SvgaTextMode) resize, after lynx has been
run. I don't know if my versions of ncurses are obsolete or what, but
slang is in this respect better on all platforms I use lynx on (Linux,
SunOS, Ultrix).
