yes.

delif, tunif, pcapif are not used anywhere. tcpdump does not support IPv6. unixif is used by simnode and simrouter which I personally never started. -> These are all at least untested by myself. I don't know if anybody else uses them, at least noone had complaints so far.

Should all these netifs be deleted, too? Does anyone out there use them?

Does that mean only 'tapif' is used/compiled/supported under unix now?
What happens to the other, now unused netifs?
