Hi Erik,
Thanks for the update. Got the application code in contrib working pretty easy.
Will try now to find the working of stack.

Just for those who might come across this thread.
While working with contrib, it still uses the lwip stack from the folder extracted from lwip source code.
the stack is NOT self contained in contrib.
So place both of the folders in same directory and rename lwip folder to just lwip instead of lwip-1.4.0 or whatever is default name.
