[lwip-users] Required accuracy of timers

lwip have a number of interfaces which are expected to return times in 
microseconds.  How accurate does the underlying clock have to be to get 
decent performance (where decent is defined as > 1 MB/s on a i686-class 
CPU?)

For the purpose of my current application, I don't worry about 
multithreading of any sort.
