Igor,BSD sockets with LWIP require an OS. If you want to, you might be able to rewrite the sockets layer to support a minimal subset of operations without an OS, but that is a bit of a project.
Chances are high that if you need BSD sockets functionality, an OS would be helpful too. Why can't you use one?
