Hello all,
a new stable release of lwIP, 0.6.1, has been put online.
Read on for details on CVS and this release.
A new CVS branch, called "STABLE", is currently active and maintained. Main purpose
is to reach a stable set of files for lwIP, that have no known bugs. For this purpose, only
bug fixes and minor changes are merged from the main development branch.
A first release from this "STABLE" branch has been put online in the Savannah "Files"
section, called 0.6.1. The CVS STABLE branch has been tagged as STABLE-0_6_1.
The main CVS branch (i.e. no tags) remains the active development tree.
(We might want to switch this in the future, and make the main branch stable, and do
development and a branch.)
