Hi Shaun

I, among others, have been working on and off on getting this working in
2.4.x kernels. I've been running very short of free time lately with my
new job, but I have a semi-working implmentation I'll be testing in the
next few days. If it works, I'll be sending a patch to Adam for
inclusion in the tree.

If you're thinking about tackling it yourself, I'll give you a bit of
advice I wish I'd had when I started this: devfs will bite you on the
rear at every possible opportunity when you try using /dev/net/tun
(actually /dev/net/tun is normally a broken symlink with devfs, maybe
with vanilla 2.4 as well, look at /dev/misc/net/tun instead).
Otherwise, I'll let everyone know when I have something solid.

Oh, and I'll have the HTML generated for 0.5 soon, don't worry.

-Joe.
