Follow-up Comment #2, patch #9367 (project lwip):
I have mixed feelings about #error-ing about that, what about PPP users which
don't use authentication, nor IP6CP, nor PPPo(E|L2TP) ? They basically only
need one timeout for LCP.
This could be acceptable if we condition the timeout number value on which PPP
features are actually enabled.
