Follow-up Comment #1:
Well, maybe the thread should exit in HOLDOFF phase too. The PPPoS "own thead"
threading code is mostly here to keep a layer of compatibility with the
previous port, if I were you I should use the PPPoS "multithread" with
pppos_input() in your own input thread and not the PPPoS "own thread".
