Follow-up Comment #18, bug #19167 (project lwip):
I haven't had time to follow this discussion yet, sorry, but a fairly
fundamental change such as this will need some careful thought and testing
before going in. I agree that something needs to be done, but at the moment
I'm not sure what the something is.
