[Ltib] Qtopia 2 p- timezone package won't build?

Hello, I am trying to build Qtopia 2 for the phytec LPC3250 board using 
the quickstart guide dated December 2010.  
My development machine is running openSUSE 11.3
Toolchain is ARMv5te gcc-4.1.2, Multi-lib, gnueabi/glibc-2.5nprl-3
Kernel (tftp) and rootfs (nfs) are on the dev machine.

I have installed xorg-x11-devel, libjpeg-devel, zlib-devel and libuuid-devel as 
indicated in the QS guide... 

I don't seem to be able to get past building timezone package.  I do a “sudo 
zypper install timezone”, the timezone package is up to date.

Looking at the output it appears to me that the binary zic is failing to run?  
I 
have tried manually to run it "./zic --version" or "sudo ./zic --version" from 
the directory /home/gepperhart/lpc3250/ltib/rpm/BUILD/timezone-2006n. "cannot 
execute binary file" is returned.
I did note a version of zic exists in /usr/sbin that does return "@(#)zic.c     
8.2" 

I have included the output from the timezone portion of the qtopia failed build 
below.
