[Ltib] Configuring NFS server

I have a Freescale MPC8379E-RDB, using version 1.3 of their Linux BSP, which includes LTIB version 8.1.2. Can you provide any information on configuring an NFS server for this system? I configured the kernel for NFS, and included the nfs-utils package, but I'm not sure where to go from there. There is no mention of NFS in /etc/services, and the nfsd, mountd, and rpcbind utilities are nowhere to be found, so configuring and initializing things on this system is obviously very different from anything I know.

As I mentioned in an earlier e-mail, if your response includes a recommendation that I update to the latest LTIB, please include instructions on how to merge it into my BSP.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
