Hi Marco,

Thanks an old version of ltib (from 2007), also looking at it, the -j4 option (in this case) is commented out.

Your best bet would be to contact Freescale for imx27 support. Alternatively you'd need to get the latest from Savannah and try to fix it from that baseline.

Attached the .ltibrc file.

Hi Marco,

Which version of LTIB are you using? if it's older then maybe it didn't have the flags at that time.

The current Savannah CVS has this in .ltibrc (which is
what I was referring to).

# use for multi-processor, or with distcc
%MAKEFLAGS
-j 8

# distcc
#%DISTCC_HOSTS
#localhost @virginia:/opt/freescale/ltib/usr/bin/distccd

#%DISTCC_TCP_CORK
#0

# ccache related environments
%CCACHE_DIR
$home/.ccache

Hi all,
I haven't found the -j8 flag neither in the .ltibrc file nor in the spec
file.

Hi Fabio,

Unfortunately the Qtopia build is a bit of a nightmare and I know the
developer working on this had problems with it. The first thing to do
is to get rid of the ccache, '-j 8' and any other such build
optimisations so you can see the failure mechanism.

Maybe someone on the list who has more experience with qtopia has some
ideas for this (or maybe even a better spec file).

Hi Marco,

So far as I know 4.3 is the latest in LTIB. I have run into build
issues when I've tried building it. To simplify debugging, turn off -j8
in .ltibrc (comment it out).

It might be worth asking Freescale support about this, personally I
don't have any hardware to try this on.

Hi all,
I'm working with the Freecale processor iMX27 using Linux OS and LTIB.
In our design we are planned to use the Qt-embedded 4.5, has someone
already written a spec file to use Qt4.5 in LTIB?

Furthermore, I'm trying to rebuild qtopia for iMX27 PDK Linux under
Fedora9.
The process seems to start correctly, but it always stops at the
following
point:

make[7]: Entering directory

/src/gui/dialogs/qfiledialog.ui -o
.uic/release-shared-emb-arm/ui_qfiledialog.h

Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance,
Marco
