Hi Vijay,

Please don't send me big attachments or messages off the list (unless
requested).  The idea of the list is that other people see the
problem/resolution and so we all get helped.

The only part you needed to send was the bit that shows the problem,
that is the segmentation fault when running genext2fs.

It looks like you're using an older BSP from 2007.  Since then we've
updated genext2fs as there were problems with later glibs
(distributions).

Either get a later BSP from Freescale (if available).  Or you could try
updating the genext2fs spec file.  You can get the current version from
Savannah CVS
(http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/ltib/dist/lfs-5.1/genext2fs/?root=ltib) 
and copy that to your old BSP and then try running:

$ ./ltib --hostcf -p genext2fs -f
$ ./ltib
