Hello,Providing an answer to my own question: The compilation of dbus requires an additional "-lz". one way to achieve that lies in the spec file:
LIBS=-lz ./configure --prefix=%{_prefix} --host=$CFGHOST --build=%{_build}
There might be more elegant ways, like in the configure.in, but it works.
