Yes, I had been running my lout command twice in order to try and grab the reference. I just tried your specific -r3 option and it does not change anything. There is still an unresolved reference to @NumberMarker.

I also see now that section 4.4 (which says to use @NumberOf) contradicts what's stated in section 2.8 which says to use @PageOf.

Did you run ‘lout’ several times, for instance with ‘lout -r3’, so that
it can resolve all references?
