Hello,
Lout's approach to bibliographic databases is very similar to that
of LaTeX (on purpose). However, at least one handy feture of LaTeX
bib-files seems to be missing, namely 'crossref'. By using that,
one can have one entry for a conference proceedings or some other
collected book, and in the entries for its articles or chapters
simply refer to that.
I guess it isn't possible to use something similar to the ordinary
'@Include' symbol in a database to compensate for the lack of
cross-referencing. I.e., the referenced file should be inserted
when the entries are being looked up in the database.
By such means one could avoid replicating the same information,
but at the expense of additional small files.
Of course, it would not save space in the generated documents
like cross-referencing does.
Best regards,
