indents in content;place-operator

Hello,
I could not find a solution to the following questions. Perhaps someone
knows better?
1. The indents for the different content-levels are OK for A4. For A5 I
would like the indents to be a bit smaller. I could not find a value for
that in the setup - file ( @PartContentsIndent does not do the trick). Did
I  overlook something?
2. I'm often using the place - operator for eps. It would be handy to
allow negative values there! (I could not get negative values to work!)
