Hot to turn off @HExpand

My applcation are printing the strings inside the table. When the words are short it creates a very big gaps or too wide spacing between the words.

I tried to use @HAdjust and I am not sure than I do understand it correctly, but some lines look very ugly with 2 or more spaces between the words.

Does anybody knows how to turn off @HExpand, so it will be a equal spacing between the words in a table column.
