There does seem to be a problem with a zero-width top margin, on
platforms other than win95.  With 3.08 under Solaris 2.5 if I have 

    @TopMargin          { 1f } 
    @FootMargin         { 0f } 

then it works; if I change @TopMargin to { 0f } then I get a core dump
(*** Signal 11 - core dumped).

The continuous text option would be a useful addition I think - I still
make use of Uwe's lout2html stuff and sometimes the fact that lout makes
"_too_ good" a job of making the plain text look presentable leads 
to less readable HTML.
