 Let's just use the latest as of right now, especially that it contains
changes that might conceivably affect lmi (MDI "Window" menu-related), even
though AFAICS they shouldn't, i.e. 9bd3de272a715b73ef09ed986fd950b2a61828c6
I haven't built it using MinGW yet, but I'm doing it right now and will
write a follow up if I encounter any problems.

 This is the less trivial part as there are already many conflicts (don't
you just hate whitespace-only changes? I know I do...) and it will take me
some time to resolve them. I've started doing it and will post here again
as soon as I manage to make a PR -- or give up if I see that I have no
chance of making it in the remaining ~2 hours.
