Hi Ben,

My mistake, the linphone library supports the synchronization. However, the feature is not accessible yet
in linphone-desktop as you surely noticed.

I’ve put the mailing list in cc, as I am not the developper of the feature.
Surely my colleague might have more insights to share with you.

Hi Sandrine,

I am disappointed to hear that.

In your message, you specifically said "contact lists are now easily shared and synchronized using vCard 4.0 format"

May I know more on the "synchronized" part? How do you actually synchronize the address book using vcard?

From my understanding, synchronize means every contacts in my address book are consistently same across multiple devices.

Unfortunately, I cannot find any softphones (paid and free) that are capable to achieve that.

Hello Ben,

Thanks for your feedback.

If you are trying to synchronize your contacts though a CardDAV server, we unfortunately do not support this feature at the moment.
If you are exporting and importing your contacts through a file (on linphone's  Options menu), check which version of the CardDAV is used
in your file, as the version supported is version 4 only.

Hope this helps.

Have a nice day!
