Hello everybody,
I'm new to this list and I have a question regarding Ubuntu Linux. I've
downloaded linphone via pip onto my box and got prompt an error:
$ python
Python 2.7.12 (default, Jul 1 2016, 15:12:24)
[GCC 5.4.0 20160609] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>>
>>>
>>> import linphone
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File
"/home/nils/.local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/linphone/__init__.py",
line 2, in <module>
from linphone import __version__
ImportError: cannot import name __version__
>>>
I also receive the same error, it I try the example script from
https://pythonhosted.org/linphone/getting_started.html
Runs linphone only on Raspberry PI? As far as I can see Raspberry Pi
uses Debian as OS, so this should be no big deal. I want to use linphone
to write a little script on my PC.
TIA,
Nils
