Re: dialing a sip URI without any registration (Russell Treleaven)

Hi Russell,

Can you please share the steps to achieve calls without using any SIP Server?

I have followed the below steps to achieve this.

1) Create a hotspot and connect other Mobile to that hotspot.
2) there are two Mobile in the same LAN which has no internet connection; their usernames are M1 and M2
M1's ip is 192.168.1.100 and
M2's ip is: 192.168.1.101
3) Dial sip: 192.168.1.100 from M2.

I am not able to receive call on M1 in this case.

Thanks,
Kaushik Parmar

Hi
I used Linphone libraries in my app to make VoIP calls over the android
devices.
I can login from several SIP providers and call between their accounts but,
When I wanted to use Skype business SIP, it won't get login and the
connection status remain in yellow color (not red nor green)

I wanted to ask what should I do in my code, is there any special
configuration for Skype account? Or is this possible at all?

I would expect that to "just work".
